Karen has extensive experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. Qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1990, completing a Business Degree and PgDMS before joining the pharmaceutical industry, where she specialised mainly in CNS therapy areas in marketing and medical affairs roles.

Since November 2018 Karen has worked in the medical cannabis market, where she has been instrumental in shaping and driving business in the UK. In August 2021 Karen took up her role at MyAccess Clinics, she is committed to developing a culture and service that will provide the foundation to excellent outcomes for those who need to access medical cannabis treatment.

Agnieszka is our Operations Director with over 15 years of experience in business management roles. Agnieszka plays a key role within MyAccess Clinics team working closely with senior management and other key stakeholders, ensuring that all processes are implemented effectively.

Agnieszka has worked in fast paced environment successively providing effective leadership, development, and performance management within cross-cultural teams. She always positions the business values and purpose at the heart of everything she does, without compromising on the quality of service provided by MyAccess Clinic.

Dr Jennifer Forbes is a GP specialising in Addiction for the last 15yrs. She has previous experience in anaesthetics and has a degree in medical psychology. She is experienced in managing complex addiction and pain symptoms.

She is using a holistic and psychological based approach to empower patients to improve their overall wellbeing. She is a passionate believer of medicinal cannabis as a safe and effective treatment option.

Lilia a self motivated team-driven individual with a passion for travel. She completed a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Health and later graduated from a Nursing program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, USA. She takes pride in her reputation as a creative out-of-the-box thinker and her ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Combined with rare levels of passion, pride, integrity and commitment, she makes all of her patients at MyAccess Clinics feel respected and heard.

Ovidiu is a Junior Clinic Administrator based in London who provides personable and qualitative help to our patients. Ovidiu has forged a career of 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry where he worked as a logistical supervisor for the Day Lewis Pharmacy chain where he gained extensive experience in the healthcare sector. He has graduated the University of Arden with a first class Bachelor’s degree in Computing. Outside the office, he enjoys travelling, especially beach holidays, reading novels and working out.

Jil has a background in working for government healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland. She is driven by a passion to help others professionally and personally. Now living in London, she loves working with MyAccess Clinics to enable more patients receive the care they both need and deserve, whilst helping them feel understood and taken seriously.

Dr Rob Forbes is a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine and has worked as a Pain Specialist for the last 17 years both in the UK and overseas in New Zealand.

For several years, he has been interested in the use of medical cannabis for the management of pain and is keen to widen access for patients suffering from chronic persistent pain throughout Scotland.

Dr Eissa is a Consultant in Pain Medicine. He is also a founding member of the Faculty of Pain at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and honorary secretary of the British Pain Society and was a member of the working group that composed the recent guidelines for the use of medical cannabis in the management of chronic pain.

Dr Eissa is currently an international coordinator in multicentre research trials assessing new pain medications. In 2016, Dr Eissa won a national award from Chief Medical Officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies, for his research in pain medicine. Dr Eissa has a particular interest in the use of cannabinoids for the treatment of chronic pain and is currently working with an industry partner to design trials for the use of cannabinoids for the treatment of chronic pain.

Dr Aditi Ghei is an expert in pain management and has been a consultant in this field since 2010. She first trained in Anaesthetics in India and completed her higher training at Imperial school in London, and Specialist Training at University Hospital of Wales.

She treats patients with a range of chronic painful conditions and is a keen advocate of a multidisciplinary approach to pain management. Dr Ghei believes in the holistic approach to management, integrating techniques such as medication management, physiotherapy, acupuncture and interventions for patient care to improve quality of life.

Dr Sally Ghazaleh qualified in 2000 as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Szeged Medical School, Hungary, a world-leading institution of medical education. She then completed her specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Semmelweis University.

Dr Ghazaleh gained her higher degree in pain management at University College Hospital, London and as a Fellow in pain medicine at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queens Square, London. During her time at the Pain Management Centre at University College Hospital, she has gained extensive experience in managing complex patients with multiple pain problems such as spinal, pelvic and cancer pain.

Dr Ghazaleh is fluent in Arabic, English and Hungarian.

Mr Wajid Ali Raza is a Senior Consultant Surgeon in Spinal Cord Injuries & Rehabilitation Medicine. He has 30 years’ experience in the NHS and has been running the Yorkshire Regional Spinal injury centre for the last 15 years, providing life-long patient care. During his training, he has had exposure to 6 out of 8 Regional Spinal Injury centres in the UK. He is currently an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and Mr Raza also actively participates in research projects.

He has a special interest in Musculoskeletal & Neuropathic Pain and Spasticity Management following spine related disorders. He has experience in providing comprehensive tertiary level treatment, through implanting and managing intrathecal drug delivery systems for spasticity and pain in Spinal Cord Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Head Injury, Stroke & Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients.

Having recently done a survey it was revealed to Mr Raza that there was a significant use of street cannabis in the Spinal Cord injury community. He strongly believes that the provision of Medical Cannabis will be a more safe and effective way to manage otherwise challenging pain and spasticity cases.

Dr Michal Modestowicz, or simply Dr Mike, is a Consultant Neurologist. He trained in the UK and in his native Poland, drawing the best from both medical traditions. His subspecialty interests within neurology include migraine and other types of headache, multiple sclerosis and other neuro-inflammatory conditions, central sensitisation syndrome, as well as stroke. He can also provide consultations to patients suffering from epilepsy, neuropathic pain, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, dystonia, restless legs, Tourette syndrome, tics and motor neurone disease, among other. Fellow of the European Board of Neurology, author of a doctoral dissertation on migraine, investigator in a number of clinical trials involving multiple sclerosis. Passionate about integrative and functional medicine, advocate of holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Dr David Pang is a consultant psychiatrist with expertise in the treatment of substance misuse. He graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2008 and completed specialist psychiatric training across Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire. He works as a Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist in the charity sector and is dual qualified in General Adult Psychiatry with an endorsement in Addiction Psychiatry.

He has long been interested in the innovation and clinical developments of the new psychiatric treatments, particularly medical cannabis. He is pleased to be involved in this emerging and promising field and is committed to providing high quality care for patients.

Dr Sam Rainsbury completed his medical training at Imperial College Medical School, also graduating with honours in Medical Sciences with Management at the Imperial College Business School.

He completed further training in London and Somerset before moving to Devon where he now works as a GP with an interest in medical education, mental health, chronic pain, and forensic medicine.

Dr David Bailey has worked as a GP in Jersey for the last 25 years after qualifying in 1989 from the University of Wales, College of Medicine. He has additional qualifications in child health, substance misuse, management of alcohol problems and is a member of the Royal College of general practitioners.

After completing his GP training in Southampton and Jersey he joined his current Practice in 1999. David has experience managing mental and physical health problems that includes a special interest in dependency to prescribed and illicit drugs. He is the Safeguarding lead at his GP Practice and takes an active part in management.

He co-founded Susida Medical in 2020 after a lecture on its benefits in common problems he encountered in primary care took his interest. He has a keen interest in the use of medical cannabis in the wide variety of problems he encounters in Primary Care.

Chrissie is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a keen interest in the management of long term conditions. She has a BSc (hons) in Adult Nursing, a MSc with distinction in Advanced Clinical Practice and is an independent prescriber. After a decade in acute cardiology and high dependency care, Chrissie moved into general practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner where she continues to do some of her clinical work today.

Her interest in the management of chronic pain is what fed Chrissie’s journey into medical cannabis – looking for ways to better manage the experiences of the patient’s she consults with. She is interested in the joining of psychotherapeutic interventions with disease management and linking the role of medical cannabis into general practice.

Pete has been a qualified pharmacist for 31 years and has a depth of experience, having worked as Chief Officer for Dudley LPC and being a director of a Distance Selling Pharmacy.

He currently works as a Clinical Lead in Alcohol and Substance Use in Shropshire and for a Private Detox Facility. His vast knowledge of the subject has resulted in him being a visiting lecturer at Aston University.

Pete has a keen interest in Medicinal Cannabis and runs sessional Clinics under a shared care agreement for Private patients who have been prescribed Medicinal Cannabis by a Consultant and need to be reviewed and maintained on a prescription.
